Hari Raya is a great day for Muslims. This song was made to celebrate this great day to increase the collection of Muslim’s celebration songs in the market.
This song was created by Syed Samudera, recorded at FrentastiX studio in Kedah, mixed and mastered by Are-Tan at PGE Studio in Trolak, Perak.
The Frentastix group is a new rock band from Kedah under the umbrella of the recording company Loonaq Records. Established on 1 September 2022, the Frentastix group was founded by Syed Samudera. The name FrentastiX is a continuation of the kids band Friendtastic led by Putera fiq who once produced a single album titled “Marilah ke Sekolah” on August 26, 2018 which is also under the Loonaq Records label.
This song “Selamat Hari Raya” is the second work of Syed Samudera for FrentastiX. The first single “Wira Hakiki (Jamming Session)” had to be postponed due to the advice of the label due to the timing not being suitable. God willing the single will be on the digital market soon.
After the split of the Friendtastic Group, we came up with the idea to establish the FrentastiX Band which consists of 4 members who, in addition to Syed who is the main guitarist of the popular 90s rock band Samudera, are also joined by musicians from Kedah namely Eddie (drums), Abe (bass) and the uniqueness of this band is Putera Fiq who is only 15 years old as lead guitar. Prince Fiq is the son of Syed Samudera.
Frentastix’s genre is Rock Ballad music and introduces songs that have an element of advice and godliness.
The full names of the FrentastiX band members are:
1. Syed Mohd anuar bin Syed Yusoff ( Syed Samudera – Vocalist/Guitarist);
2. Syed Muhammad Fikri bin Syed Mohd Anuar (Prince Fiq – Lead Guitarist);
3. Mohammad Hasmadi Bin Hanapi (Eddie – drums), and
4. Abd Halim b Othman (Abe – bass guitar).
